A.M. at the MMA

An adventure in art through conversation and sketching occurs on summer weekday mornings for visitors ages five through twelve and their adult friends. Each day the program focuses on works of art in the Museum related to a different theme. Search the calendar for upcoming dates and times.

Charles H. Tally Art Evenings for Families

Conversation and sketching help visitors ages six through twelve and their adult friends explore the Museum's collection. Evening programs include Curator Contact, which is led by a Museum curator and a Museum educator. Search the calendar for upcoming dates and times.

Discoveries

These Sunday programs consist of thematic gallery tours and creative art activities for individuals with learning and developmental disabilities who are accompanied by a friend or family member. Family Orientations

Hello, Met!

Topics unlocking the history, meaning, and cross-cultural connections of works of art in the Museum are explored through conversation and sketching by visitors ages five through twelve and their adult friends. Start with Art at the Met/Start with Art Plus

Nolen Library in the Ruth and Harold D. Uris Center for Education

Nolen Library welcomes families—and readers of all ages—to consult a wide range of noncirculating materials about the Museum's current exhibitions, permanent collection, and art history in general. Met Holiday Monday Family Programs

The Main Building of the Museum is open on select Met Holiday Mondays throughout the year. Families (children ages five through twelve and accompanying adults) explore the Museum through an hour of stimulating discussion and sketching of its masterpieces. This mid-winter recess gallery program welcomes visitors ages five through twelve and accompanying adults to the Museum's collection through discussions and sketching. A Month of Sundays

The Metropolitan Museum welcomes families to participate in a series of classes that encourages curiosity and enthusiasm about art. Each class, intended for children ages six through twelve and their adult companions, is limited to twenty-four participants. Classes are not available as individual sessions.
